Packing instructions

After removing pipes from bike clean them and wrap them individually in bubble wrap. Find a box as close to the overall size of the pipes as you can.   If your box is bigger cut it down and re-tape it. Cushion the ends with extra cardboard and if you have twin pipes separate them with cardboard.   Fill any voids in the package with crushed newspaper packed firmly in the voids.   DO NOT USE PACKING PEANUTS!!   Peanuts do not stop the contents from shifting in the box and shifting is what causes the damage.   Tape the box securely and apply shipping label to box.   Black out any old shipping labels on your box. Give to any UPS shipping point.

Boxes over 104" in length and girth will be charged oversize rates by UPS and we will pass those costs to you. Our box size for dual mufflers is 36"X16"x8", for single exhaust our box size is 44"X10"X10". As you can see these boxes add up to 84" combined length and girth, you've 20" more to play with when making a box to ship. Over that and it costs extra.

Pack and send mufflers with chrome and tips, do not send head pipes!
