When we receive cores they are stripped of the chrome and then labeled and indexed. Through our metal working magic they are emptied of the factory baffling and then reassembled with our tuned exit pipe assembly. Although simple in appearance it took some time to come up with the combination that gives the proper backpressure and exhaust note. All pipes are returned to factory specs and are TIG welded with stainless steel filler rod. Laser cut end plates and exit tubes are carbon steel and painted with high heat paint. This multi-step process is done and pipes are waiting when you make an order. If you send your pipe in and we use your chrome the chrome is placed on a completed pipe and returned to you the same day we receive it. Pipes ordered exchange will normally go out same day ordered. Although somewhat labor intensive this process is set up on a production basis and that keeps the costs down, making our exhaust a price efficient way of maintaining stock appearances with aftermarket sound.
